Lessons

Riding lessons are available for all ages from beginner to the experienced rider. Beginning riders will not only learn basic balance seat riding but will learn the proper care, grooming and handling of horses as well the care and use of riding equipment.

Students may also learn more about stable management by working at the barn under supervised instruction. Durham is home of the University of New Hampshire which has an exceptional Equine Management program. College students are encouraged to do their apprenticeships at Linden Woods Farm.
